  1. Prepare 1/2 kg Idli batter

  6. Make ready 2 tbsp Cabbage thinly sliced
  7. Get 2 tbsp Carrot thinly sliced

  11. Take 5 garlic pods thinly sliced
  12. Prepare 1/2 inch ginger sliced

  14. Prepare 1 tsp chopped coriander stem
  15. Get 1 tbsp Schezwan Sauce
  16. Take 2 tsp olive oil
  17. Take As per taste Salt
  18. Make ready as required Oil to fry Idlis
  19. Take as required Schezwan Coconut Chutney
  20. Get 1 tbsp roasted gram dal
  21. Get 3 tbsp grated coconut
  22. Prepare 1 tbsp Schezwan Sauce
  23. Make ready as per taste Salt

LETS SEE THE STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE FOR STUFFED IDLI, Heat a kadai and temper with mustard seeds and spilt urad dal. Add finely chopped onions and tomatoes,fry till transparent. Add capsicum, fry for a minute in medium flame. Take the black gram lentils (urad dal) in a bowl and rinse it well with enough water.

Instructions to make Chinese Stuffed Idli:
  1. For Stuffing heat oil in a pan add garlic, ginger,chilli, onion and sliced vegetables, salt & Schezwan Sauce and stir fry on high flame for a while and turn off-gas. Keep stuffing crunchy.
  2. Grease Idli plates with ghee and pour little idli batter in greased idli plates and in center stuff little prepared stuffing with spoon and cover with idli batter till top and steam for 10-minutes in idli cooker.
  3. Unmould idlis and fry 4 Idlis till brown and crispy, Cut idlis from center.
  4. Arrange idlis alternate one steamed & one fried like flower and serve hot with Schezwan coconut Chutney.
  5. Grind coconut, roasted gram dal Schezwan Sauce and salt and little water as needed in a mixer grinder into smooth Chutney.

Add capsicum, fry for a minute in medium flame. Take the black gram lentils (urad dal) in a bowl and rinse it well with enough water. Drain all the water from soaked lentils and transfer it to mixer. How to make stuffed idli: Mix salt and dahi in suji and make a thick batter using water. Boil alu, peel and mash properly.
