Get For motichoor ladoo:
Prepare 2 cup Besan
Prepare 1/2 tbsp semolina (rava)

Get 1 tsp elaichi powder

Make ready 2 packets biscuits broken into pieces
Get 200 gm Milk chocklet chopped
Prepare 100 gms butter melted for chocolate topping

Motichoor ladoo is a delectable gram-flour sweet with a soft and melt-in-mouth texture. Though, Motichoor ladoo has its origins in North India, it is one of the most popular festive sweet enjoyed through out India. Use a whisk to mix it well. Add water little by little to form a thick paste,then add little more water.
Steps to make Motichoor choco tart:
For boondi batter: - in a bowl combine the besan, semolina,orange colour, soda - and water. mix well to make a smooth batter. Keep aside.
For sugar syrup: Combine the sugar and water in a kadhai and heat while stirring continuously till the sugar dissolves. Add the orange colour to the syrup and make a syrup ofone string consistency. Keep warm.
Heat oil in a kadhai. When hot, hold a perforated spoon (boondi jhara) over the hot oil and pour a little boondi batter at a time using a ladle over the perforated spoon. Spread the batter with the back ofa spoon so that the boondi falls into the oil Fry the boondis over a high flame to a light golden colour, taking care to ensure that they are not very crisp.
Add the boondis, elaichi powder, chopped dry fruits & melon seeds to the warm sugar syrup and mix well so that the boondis soak in the syrup well. Allow the mixture to cool completely. in a food processor pulse the mixture only 2-3 times (dnt grind).
Add the biscuits & butter in a food processor.
Grind to crumbly powder
Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave.
Mix well
Grease a tart tin with butter. spread the biscuit mixture on the bottom of the greased tin & chill for 20-25 mints. Add the motichoor ladoo crumbs
Spread it evenly
Add the melted chocolate in top & let it chill. Garnish with chopped dry fruits
Chill. Slice & Serve.
Use a whisk to mix it well. Add water little by little to form a thick paste,then add little more water. And little more food color, the batter should be thinner than dosa batter. These mini salted chocolate tarts are super easy (seriously!) and use only a few basic ingredients in your pantry. Buttery tender shells with strong flavoure.
