Spread coated bread cubes onto a baking sheet. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir Parmesan cheese, garlic, and onion powder into the melted butter; pour over the bread cubes and toss to coat.

  1. cut buns/bread into cubes & put in lg bowl
  2. melt butter in microwave, about 10-12 sec, mix to dissolve any lumps
  3. add spices and parmesan to butter and mix again
  4. pour mixture slowly & covering as much as possible
  5. Toss really good, making sure all croutons r covered
  6. add another dash of parmesan and toss again
  7. Bake in oven @ 400 till light golden brown and crispy, doesn't take very long
  8. I always like to turn 1/2 way thru & have a little taste test, sometimes adding more spice while still semi moist

Spread bread cubes in a single layer in a shallow baking pan or on a baking sheet. In a saute pan, melt butter. Add paprika, salt and toasted bread cubes and toss to coat. Remove crusts from the bread and cut in to cubes or other shapes of your choice, then place the bread in to a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the garlic salt and Parmesan and the pepper.
