Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring with a wire whisk until smooth. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.

  1. Warm up your milk In microwave for 1 min or heat the milk over medium-low heat until hot.
  2. In another saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Be patient at this point and let button melt gently as you dont want to burn your butter.
  3. As soon as butter melts, add the flour and stir with a hand whisk until it butter and flour cooperate.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-low and add the hot milk slowly little by little, stirring constantly with a whisk. Continue stirring all the time until the sauce begins to thicken. You can see sauce become creamy without being too thick. Try to whisk gently but consistency to get rid of al the lumps. Basic white sauce1.   5. Ps. After turn heat off, You can stir in the 2 egg yolks in (one at a time), and mix well to give it a rich colour and flavour but in this recipe I did add any eggs in.
